I’ve always had a passion for planning and decorating events. Growing up, my mum and dad were always the ones catering for and decorating family and friends’ parties, and I was never far behind. From helping out in the kitchen to pushing the centre into the vol-au-vents (and taste-testing along the way!), I loved being part of it all. My favourite part was seeing everything come together and watching people enjoy what we had created.

That passion followed me into college, where I studied Travel & Tourism. As part of the course, we planned a charity event for Teenage Cancer Trust, and my tutor even told my mum that I could make a career out of event planning. At the time, I had my heart set on travelling, but those words always stayed with me.

I’ve always known I wanted to be a business owner. At just 19, I launched my own clothing business, but deep down I knew it wasn’t where I truly belonged. Fast forward to Covid — I had worked hard and progressed in my career, yet I still felt I wanted more. While pregnant with my beautiful daughter, Isla, I started Creative Gifts, my gifting business.

Friends soon began asking me to create wedding items such as robes, slippers, prints, and champagne glasses, and I instantly fell in love with it. Knowing I was contributing to one of the most special days in a couple’s life was incredibly rewarding. Not long after, a colleague asked me to dress a wedding venue, and that’s when my passion truly grew.

Balancing full-time work with a young daughter wasn’t easy, but I dedicated every spare moment I had. Year after year, both the business and my love for what I do continued to grow. In 2025, I officially began offering venue dressing and coordination, and I haven’t looked back since. I absolutely love working with amazing couples and bringing their wedding visions to life.

I’ve been so lucky to have incredible support along the way. My mum Sharon, along with Donna and Neale, have been there for countless setups, cheering me on and helping me build this dream. My parents are always excited to hear my ideas and have supported every decision I’ve made.
